A perfect way to spend an hour or two and suitable for the whole family
Our experienced guides provide a bespoke tour of the Moot Hall, taking you through 600 years of history. From 1420 when Sir Robert D’arcy first commissioned the medieval brick tower as part of his fine mansion through to the many civic functions and ceremonies it still hosts today. The climb to the top of the tower is well worth the effort. You will be rewarded with a 360⁰ view from the highest vantage point in the town.
There is much to explore and we look forward to sharing it with you.
Guided Tours of the Moot Hall take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from March to October at 11am and 12.30 (unless there is a ceremony taking place).
