The summer has been a busy time for our guides and volunteers with our extended 2018 tours programme, weddings and community events in the town. The Heritage Weekend was very popular with hundreds of visitors over the two days, plus a visit with a question and answer session by our Mayor, Councillor Jeanette Stilts. Before this, Dr Helen Kemp’s talk about Judicial Torture in former times, marked our annual celebration of D’Arcy Day marking Robert D’Arcy’s contribution to both Maldon’s and the nation’s social development.
